SAS Programmer - Aortic | WL Gore | Flagstaff, AZ

The ideal candidate for this position will be capable of programming SAS
code that can be used and reused across multiple clinical studies and
therapies, and will also be able to provide SAS programming leadership
and collaboration within the study team.
Programming responsibilities will primarily focus on FDA submissions,
but will periodically involve other types of SAS Programming efforts in
support of, but not limited to the clinical and marketing groups within
the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- The individual will work closely with the Clinical Team to formulate
Case Report Forms (CRFs) and establish specifications for analysis
datasets, summary tables and listings.
- The individual will work closely with Biostatistician(s) and other SAS
Programmer(s) to plan, program and validate analysis datasets,
statistical tables, listings and graphs in support of clinical study
reports for all phases of the clinical endeavor.
- The individual is required to have the ability to produce clear and
well-documented SAS programs.
- The individual must be flexible and able to support multiple studies
at the same time.
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of SAS Programming experience in a clinical
research environment; or 5 years of comparable SAS Programming
experience.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment as well as the ability to work equally well independently
and with teams.
- The position requires strong knowledge of SAS, including, but not
limited to some combination of the following: Base SAS, SAS Macro
Language, SAS ODS facility, SAS GRAPH, SAS STAT
