At Gentiva, we're providing physical therapists like you with a
revolutionary career alternative. Gentiva Orthopedics specializes in
home physical therapy that begins before surgery and continues through
the patient's hospital stay and discharge. Led by a PT team leader who
understands just how important therapy is, you'll work with patients in
the surroundings most conducive to patient comfort, their own homes.

As the Director of Gentiva Orthopedics, you will:
- Develop and implement marketing plans for the growth of the orthopedic
specialty business. Develop operating, financial and marketing protocols
(procedures, practices) for the orthopedic business
- Determine market potential, competition, regulatory climate, licensure
requirements and medical community support for specialty. Meet with
existing and potential customers to establish fair pricing.
- Develop training programs for field staff to facilitate their
understanding of the specialty.
- Maintain ongoing clinical knowledge through internal/external training
programs, provide interpretation of knowledge and direction to staff.
- Recruit, interview and hire clinical and support staff required for
specialty. Support performance reviews and counseling sessions to
enhance potential to specialty staff.
- Assist with the preparation of specialty budget and monitor
expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical
Therapy Program
- A minimum of five years experience in orthopedics
- Three years of supervisory experience
- Business development, contracting and marketing skills desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and
organizational skills
